Catfolk philosophy

A deeply spiritual and philosophical people, catfolk usually worship several deities simultaneously. Most catfolk investigate the beliefs of other races before they decide what to use for their own guidance. Catfolk tend to look for the more natural deities and lifestyles. They are known to seek guidance from shamans of the gnoll, lizardfolk or vanara races. They value the connection of those races to nature’s power and their detailed knowledge of plants and animals. While most tribes of catfolk move around in a nomadic fashion, a few travel much more than others. For those tribes, it is almost impossible to maintain a relationship with a shaman of another race. In that case, catfolk are likely to turn their attention and worship to their own ancestors. Tokens that belonged to the ancestors are collected, prayed to and protected. These items are ascribed great powers, although they are usually no more than common objects, trinkets or oddities.
