Ruins of Old
Catfolk get along well with members of just about every other race. They admire those who live in the wild more than dwellers of the ruins of old. Because of this, they seek out the company of gnolls, lizardfolk and vanara. They shy away from dwellers of the ruins of the old society such as hadozee, kobolds and nezumi. Catfolk have a hard time understanding the slow, steady approach that hadozee take to life, and the two races have little in common. Because they are such opposites in temperament and preferred homelands, catfolk and hadozee rarely enjoy the other’s company, although no real animosity exists between the races. Catfolk also have trouble understanding the lifestyle of kobolds. In particular the tiraki kin’s fascination with the numenera. A catfolk is generally only interested in artifacts or cyphers that ease the hunt. Catfolk run the risk of being misunderstood and judged as crazy by other races. Amongst eachother, they are respected for being eccentric, but to others it can be confusing and slightly annoying.
