Ruins of Old
Nezumi are wild, fierce, and primitive. They are survivalists in a grim terrain, and their outlook is colored by the harsh realities of their existence: barren land, hazardous natural features, and deadly predators. For all the evil that surrounds them, the nezumi have somehow carved out a highly successful niche. They thrive in the most hazardous ruins of old. Places where other races will surely get deadly ill. The nezumi do too, but their short lifecycle allows them to conquer illnesses due to rapid adaptation.
Nezumi lands are crowded. Too many nezumi are born to live a succesful life. Death rates are high. Competition is fierce. A nezumi is therefore selfish and will do everything to ensure its own survival. Loyalty is non-existent. A nezumi is always plotting and scheming against its competitors or perceived competitors. Their attitude towards others is a symptom of their own cunning, backstabbing mind. Nezumi always have an unhealthy distrust of anything but themselves.
